The very first piece in the collection - a classic work jacket constructed with french seams, engineer cuffs, angled waist pockets, wool washer backed YKK buttons, curved collar tips and ‘cut away’ curve at the hem.


Hand numbered edition made in Japan.

A very unique corduroy with a great irregular character from the particular dyeing, washing and drying processes. The very dry hand is achieved both through the use of hemp and also the open air drying. The cloth was machine dyed in Kyoto using gallnuts with an iron mordant - these dyers specialize in very consistently colored predominantly natural dye processes - achieved by stabilizing the more unpredictable natural dyes with the use of a small percentage of conventional dye and by dyeing with machines as opposed to by hand. Woven in Japan.
Ilan is 5'10" and wearing a size medium, Nile is 5'7" and wearing a size extra small.
Hand or delicate wash cold, hang dry.
