A fully lined boxy overshirt with dropped shoulder seam, lined chest patch pockets with button-through closure, interior patch pockets, corozo buttons. A looser fit than the original Field Shirt, but both feature a larger neck opening, to nest cleanly when layered over a buttondown.
Hand numbered edition made in California.
Olive melange colored medium weight wool/cotton blend twill woven in Aichi Japan. 65% wool & 35% cotton.
This cloth is piece dyed using a process that is mostly effective for protein fiber such as wool, so that the cotton part that becomes only half-dyed and creates a melange effect on the yarn. In the finishing process, the fabric is slightly milled and pressed to have a softer flannel-like texture that breaks the typical formalness and rigidity of a Cavalry twill.
