Made in the cottage industry style around the village of Lucca, Italy - panels are knitted and brought to different homes where they are linked together, and then brought to the buttonhole makers house to be finished.

Knitted in Lucca, Italy from a naturally colored, undyed 100% yak wool yarn.

This video offers a glimpse into the small scale production of knitwear in and around the Renaissance era village of Lucca, Italy. The sweaters are made in the cottage industry tradition - panels are knitted and delivered to home workshops for linking together, adding buttonholes and buttons. Maicol works alongside his mother in their studio to check and finish each piece.
