A fully lined loose, blouson style jacket with dropped shoulder seams, elasticated waistband, button through cuffs, large two-way flap pockets with hidden button closure, corozo buttons, two-way zipper, and pointed collar tips. The looser silhouette allows for comfortable layering beneath.

Hand numbered edition made in Japan.

The dry hand of this subtly patterned woolen check is a signature of British wool - where the colder, harsher climate results in a more coarse fiber. To render this cloth a bit softer, it was blended with Australian merino wool. The cloth was washed and air dried for a raised texture finish. Spun in Okazaki, Japan by Mikawa, a specialist in woolen yarn spinning. The wool fibers were top-dyed before spinning, to achieve a melange effect in the individual yarns which helps to blur the herringbone and check patterns in the weave. The original design dates from the early 1990's but was updated with original colors.
