An over-shirt with french seams, cuff taper option, YKK metal tack buttons with wool washers, slightly dropped chest pockets with hidden button closure, curved collar tips and an invisible placket.

Hand numbered edition made in Japan.

A medium weight, tumbled canvas that has been overdyed twice. First using an Oekotex beige color for warmth and then a second time with natural sumi ink for overtones of charcoal and irregularity in the shade. Cotton lends softness in the hand, while washi adds a dry texture and distinct breathability. Woven and dyed in Japan.
Ilan is 5'10" and wearing a size medium, Sade is 5'9" and wearing a size medium.
Hand or machine wash cold/gentle setting and hang dry.

Nestled into the banks of the Asahi River that runs through Okayama, this larger scale dye house specializes in one discipline; piece dyeing, or the dyeing of fabric after it's woven.

An unassuming cluster of warehouse structures conceals a mysterious world of color alchemy and idiosyncratic machinery. The immense scale of space and hyper specific decades old equipment exhibiting the heavy patina of time impart a Jules Verne-like quality to the humble spaces.

As a result of this history and wealth of experience the craftspeople at this mill are able to execute machine sumi dyeing to the highest level - achieving consistency in tone and depth across hundreds of meters of cloth.
